What are the general requirements for the Conference of Consulting Actuaries?

A:
A member must be highly proficient in the scientific and practical application of the mathematics of insurance contingencies and of other techniques relating to mathematical and financial analysis. The candidate must also have professional and business qualifications, moral character, and ethics that are beyond reproach. A “Fellow” of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (CCA) in addition must be engaged in consulting actuarial practice, and have at least twelve years of experience in responsible actuarial work which includes substantial actuarial responsibility. Continuing professional education is recognized by the conference in its “Program for Recognition of Continuing Professional Education.”
