After meeting with a client to gather information,
Marker Actuarial designs a work plan tailored to meet each
clients specialized actuarial needs. That work plan describes
the actuary involved in doing the work, the procedures used,
support staff as necessary, the approximate number of hours and the approximate
time frame for completion of the report. Procedures will follow
actuarial standards of practice. During the project, work
papers documenting the progress will be prepared. Periodically
Marker Actuarial will discuss work progress with management,
providing an opportunity to fine tune work plans further to
client needs. An actuary peer reviewer will review the assumptions
and methodology used to arrive at final recommendations. A
report will be prepared in draft form for management. After
any adjustments are made, Marker Actuarial will prepare a
final report.
